Rhubarb Reign Trunk Show Recap

We had a blast last weekend during our trunk show with Rhubarb Reign! It was an absolute perfect weekend: the weather was awesome, had a huge turn out from our loyal local customers and met tons of new visitors from the Country Living Fair!

We were thrilled to see Maryellen from Twist Style once again, meet CJ and Dan from True North Interior Design and Patrice from Elements.

A big thank you to Sandy and Joe and of course to our wonderful customers for making our special event a huge success!

Eco-friendly El Naturalista's always put a bounce in my step!

Canvas and jute espadrilles from Spain, I had them shipped with a pair of pink ones so they didn't get lonely on their trip to the states.

Platform mary janes I purchased in NYC ages ago, I've had the shoe repair man replace the elastic twice in the buckle and begged him to custom mix shoe polish for these babes.



Josef Seibel no-brainers from Nordstroms, easiest sale for that employee.





My beat-up and trashed nubuck Danskos, can't give them up due to the ultimate comfort!

Brand new John Fluevogs loafers I scored this month at their SoHo location.

Waited all summer for Troentorp to cobble these wood clogs in Sweden.

Also from Sweden, I'll be getting a lot of wear out of these bad boys!

Rhubarb Reign Trunk Show at SoBo

It's offical, we're are hosting Sandy and Joe from Rhubarb Reign for a special trunk show in September! They will be showcasing their signature vintage furniture and handmade treasures on Friday, September 16th and Saturday, September 17th from 10am - 6pm. We are going to have a big tent set up in front of SoBo for the event. The Country Living Fair is in Columbus that same weekend so it's bound to be an exciting time! We're so looking forward to seeing all our wonderful customers and out of town guests!

Introducing Hot Skwash!

We are thrilled to offer these stunning velvet pumpkins from Hot Skwash this Fall! They are handmade in Portland, Oregon with luscious silk velvet and real pumpkin stems. These beauties have been patiently waiting in our back room for their debut this week at SoBo Style. We highly suggest you come meet them immediately!

Country Living Fair in Columbus and Rhubarb Reign at SoBo Style

The sixth annual Country Living Fair is taking place once again in our fair city of Columbus, Ohio on September 16th, 17th and 18th, 2011. Which is basically a month away and the buzz is abound! We love seeing all our out of-town customers who make the trek to Columbus for the fair at the Ohio Village. We are always delighted to have the CL fair visitors come see us during thier stay in Columbus.

So....this year..........in conjunction with the fair we are excited to announce:

As a special event this year we are hosting a trunk show at SoBo Style with Rhubarb Reign during the Country Living Fair weekend. We thought it would be a blast for all our customers to meet our favorite dealers, Rhubarb Reign. The trunk show will be Friday, September 16th and Saturday, September 17th from 10am-6pm. They will be featuring original paint and industrial furniture as well as their signature handmade treasures. So be sure to plan a trip to SoBo Style during this special weekend in Columbus! We're looking forward to seeing all of you!

Metalsmithing

We would like to introduce Kristen Ellis, our newest local jewelry designer to be featured at SoBo Style! Her reclaimed metals from vintage silverware is transformed into spiral rings and cuff bracelets. We certainly had a ball trying everyone of them on. Come in and dig through these amazing metalsmithing pieces for yourself!
