HolidayVille 2012

HolidayVille is this Sunday, December 9th!  What a wonderful way to shop local and celebrate Clintonville!  The historical trolleys will be running on High Street and our nieghborhood businesses are offering all sorts of seasonal specials.  We will have door prizes and giveaways throughout the day at SoBo!  Stop in and celebrate the Holidays with us while you make your way around Clintonville this Sunday!

Meet the Artist Day

Saturday, November 10th we will be hosting Jay Harrison of Peared Creations for a special Meet the Artist Day!  Jay creates industrial brewery lamps featuring pre-prohibition bottles, iron piping and faucet switch fixtures.

His lamps have been a huge hit with all of our customers, young, old, women and men alike!  Grab a friend and pop in from noon to 4pm on November 10th (it's the OSU football bye-week), meet Jay in person, hear his story and learn about the 19th century breweries that bring the past to light!

Harvest Fair 2012 with Rhubarb Reign

It was so much fun welcoming Fall with Rhubarb Reign last weekend at our Harvest Fair! Thanks to all of our loyal customers and out of town visitors for making the weekend such a success.

Work started Thursday evening when design duo Sandy and Joe of Rhubarb Reign arrived with their trailer full of treasures. Each piece we unpacked we couldn't believe how creative and wonderful everything was! Sandy and Joe worked all summer creating and gathering pieces just for our Harvest Fair. From the pumpkin crowns, to the hammered silverware to the handmade pins Rhubarb Reign's originality is unrivaled.

It was a thrill for our customers to meet the artistic minds behind the scenes in person. The great fall weather was the perfect way to welcome our customers from all over the region (and further). Thanks to Rhubarb Reign and all who attended we hope to see you the same time, same place next year!

FALL into SoBo Style

Well we did it, we made it through one of the hottest Summers on record! Now that we've survived we are ready for the Fall festivities to begin. The birch tube vases have been transformed with bright orange, yellow and green leaves. Between the bittersweet berries, Indian corn, sugar pine cones and sunflowers you can feel Fall in the air. Our stunning velvet pumpkins add the perfect touch and they are being picked up fast.

Speaking of festivities...there is a ton going on in Clintonville and we are so excited to be apart of it! This weekend is Festiville, a celebration of art and music at Whetstone Park and the Clintonville Homes Tour.

Next up at SoBo Style...our two day Harvest Fair with Rhubarb Reign on Friday and Saturday September 14th and 15th. With all the Fall events, Clintonville is the place to be this month!
