Industrial Chic

We want to light up your life, old school. We are excited to expand our industrial look with a new local artist creating lamps with vintage bottles and iron piping. Some even from the pre -prohibition era. But unlike prohibition we are going to tell you yes!

If it appears we're on a paper theme this year, you're correct! Our new addition to this paper collection is local artist, Salvaged Whimsy paper rose wreaths. Using recycled book pages and hand dyed coffee filters, Erin has impeccably finished these stunning wreaths. Truly season-less, our customers are grabbing them up quickly!

We love to think out of the box, the chocolate box that is! Our handmade french soaps and lotions are quite an improvement from the traditional Valentine gift. Custom made in France, using traditional french provencal methods and the finest ingredients. Your sweetheart will be delighted with the amazing scents and being pampered on Valentines Day!

Sculpted out of old paper by a local artist they are an inexpensive addition to a gift or a little something to brighten your space. Each new batch of vintage paper flowers is different from the next so you can continue to build your unique collection over time.

Mid-Winter Window Display

Inspiration has struck us again at SoBo Style. One of our customers gave us a collection of Fortune magazines from the 1930s. As soon as we saw the vintage ads and articles we knew we had to use the pages in some way for our mid-winter display. We came up with these cones to add dimension and small touches of color to our front windows during these grey months. Be sure to come in and see how our display looks in person!

We love to find new uses for old things at SoBo Style. Local artist Basilicus Jones does a great job of transforming vintage silverware into functional treasures for your home. His unique serving hooks and fork stands don't stay around for long in our store. For such a simple piece his clever designs attract a lot of attention.
