The river finally went down this week so Mia and I were able to cross over to the island. The terrain on the island changes with each season and the movement of the river. Trees and branches have come down, old paths are gone or covered with debris
AND there were some little tiny green things popping up though the mud....a sure sign that spring will arrive soon!

Yes, that is where Brenda fell in the waist high, freezing, cold river last year! I should have her post her account of the story on my blog.
